Astrology is so much more than our sun signs!
This class, led by Gay Freebern, will focus on how the placement of planets at the exact time of birth is reflected in our personalities, our relationships, and our approach to life.
We will cover a lot of information, but in a digestible way that will bring meaning and insight to this complex art form:
- How astrology expresses universal archetypes in personal and collective ways
- How astrology reflects a worldview of Oneness, synchronicity, and the cycles of the natural world
- Signs: Basic characteristics of each sign of the zodiac, including the symbolism contained in the archetypes, elements, and qualities
- Planets: The celestial bodies in our solar system, including luminaries and other objects, and what energy is embodied and expressed by each
- Houses: The significance of the chart wheel and how all 12 houses of the chart correspond with the energies of the planets and signs
- Aspects: The sacred geometry of energetic relationships in a given chart
- The glyphs for each element of a natal chart (signs, planets, etc.) and how to read placements in a chart
- How to combine the energies of planets, signs, and houses to interpret the unique blueprint for a personality and/or moment in time
- Practice interpreting each other's natal charts
- Brief introduction to transits, including retrograde motion
You will be provided with written materials to keep, including your own personal natal chart if you choose to share your birth data below. The calculation of a complete natal chart requires date of birth including year, place of birth including city, and time of birth including AM or PM (time of birth can usually be found on birth certificates).
